NEW YEAR & FLICKR.

Mon Jan 4, 2010, 2:06 PM
Here's mine: [link]
It's pretty old and unused so I revived it and uploaded some old images from DA. New stuff will go there from now on (and a few select ones here on good old DA).

Speaking of sites, here's my Tumblr/blog where I unknot my hurricane aftermath of a mind via typing. For more random photo posts, click on "front page" or browse my tags. Enjoy!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! A shitty year's behind us now. No one can tell you if 2010 will awesome or not - it's all up to us. I got a suggestion that in order to fulfill resolutions, you should plan the exact opposite and reverse-psych yourself. Hahaha.

Now, off to grab some morning noms. I'm starving. Soooo, what are your plans?

free journal skin?

Journal Entry: Tue Nov 10, 2009, 2:25 AM
[Testing. It works! I'm just copy-pasting my previous journal entry to display it.]

Haven't been updating DA lately. Maybe soon. Life changes and I don't log in as much as I used to. Also, I now have a better head on my shoulders. Calmed down thanks to an epiphany during a jeepney ride. I'll take it easy from now on.

I'm working on something large (at least largest I will ever finish) for a big group exhibit by December.
I also got a job involving photography. A JOB, NEEDZ IT.
What else is new? Haircut? It just occurred to me that it makes me look Vulcan.
Also, I officially am an unapologetic Twilight hater.
And I'm making a resolution to improve my skin hahaha.

These are the only sites I'm really active in now. Maybe Facebook too but I can't accept just anyone.
[link] - Tumblr. Now my main blog and inspiration sharing. Auto updates even when I'm not online. Yes, I slaved over the CSS on my own. Comment if you feel like it.
[link] - Twitter.

Let me leave you with "Photography is art, not science."

IDENTITY THEFT

Somebody sad has been pretending to be me in an LGBT social networking site downelink.com.

Used a lot of my photos and copy-pasted my interests from other sites.

Somebody told me about it. Thank you so much. So I signed up to take a look an report.

Here’s a screenshot: [link]

No, I wasn’t the one chatting with you there. I was asleep a while ago. Also, I haven’t even heard of the site [link] which is an LGBT social networking site. I don't want my boyfriend to think I've been messing around behind his back either.

It’s not me. Identity theft much? Should I be flattered Hohoh.

Internet stalker too since the faker does know I live in Binondo when I only mention it in blogs but never directly in a profile. Get a real hobby, a life, real friends. Cultivate your own interests, sad person.

:iconammathorn:'s Barrio Manifesto issue 1 sold out in Comic Odyssey so we went to get more printed for the second issue.

Last Saturday, we went to drop off the issue #2 of his indie comic to:

- Comic Odyssey in Robinson's Galleria
- Sputnik of Cubao-x
- Jukieshop, a new shop, also in Cubao-x

You know how supportive I get towards people who deserve it.

It's one of those photocopied indie comic books. I wish it were laserjet but that's out of the budget.
Point is, the visuals and story are pretty substantial. The style's alternative and not the types that many Filipino artists grew up drawing; "So not local" is something I hear when we're trying to get his works out there. And it HAS a story while most focus only on plots, try too hard to give folks "grittiness" or a shock effect, or just major emoness. I find it refreshing as someone jaded and critical of any medium of story + aesthetics mashing.

I thought he dreamt it up but he didn't. I thought he worked extremely hard on it, but turns out he didn't so much either. I don't get his brain sometimes as much as there's nothing weird about him.

He made a comic. It sold out. He made another one, and I love it too despite my terrible attention span. And I have a feeling it's going to fly off the shelves like the cat and dove and the entire city warping into a rose.

This is only a blogpost, not a review. Comicbooks and blooging ain't my job so I'm not obligated to tell you about it at all but I want to anyway. Go check it out. :D

Also, since I'm a visual magpie who's literally addicted to eyecandy, I made a Tumblr account to share a few of over 20,000 files I have collected over the past couple of years (not including MP3s). Yeah, I have that much. It's sad.

See it here and follow me if you have one too :D [link]
