I've done some drawings but my scanner won't work. Also trying out different mediums because I'm inexperienced and uneducated like that, heh. Stoked about art sessions with friends, even if I'm this sober, tall, literally big-headed kid who can't speak Filipino perfectly well.

["Why? But you're born and raised in the Philippines!" My highschool can't teach languages for shit so I focused on mastering the English language...yet I still can't say I'm that articulate enough. We also speak two accents of the Fujian dialect at home, occasionally Mandarin. FAQ. Now ya know. ]

I also can't take Deviantart seriously anymore but still pay attention to some great talents in it. It's feeling more and more like a social networking site, but it is one easy way to a community that many of us would otherwise have a hard time looking for. It's a great place to start with, but as you improve you tend to feel like "growing out" of Deviantart.

And I cannot get enough critiques from people who know what they're talking about, or at least take fantastic professional photographs, or do awesome art.

I hear Transformers 2 sucks. What's with 2009? People die and movies suck.

And to Thorny, because I ran out of load, I think MJ will be more popular than Elvis in the future. The former will be everywhere and everyone will trade memories of his being a has-been as well as a punchline for childhood nostalgia and genius (as well as style...flashy military jackets? Love it!). He wouldn't just be in Vegas marrying drunk couples. Though I hope to see more good MJ impersonations.

My friend finally got to publish his indie comics, and consigned in COMIC ODYSSEY at that (Robinson's Galleria branch).

Congratulations to for getting mini Bario Manifesto issue 01 out there. Hard to miss. His stuff has the indie Western flavor somehow or that of high-end/artsy anime films. Nostalgic, dreamy and now and then erratic - different from the style that typically appears in most local comicbooks.

Anyway check it out. 50 bucks.
